This solderless breadboard mounted Voltage Regulator Module supplies both 5 volt and 3.3 volt from a single wall transformer. A minimum 7 volt supply with a 2.1mm center positive barrel connector is needed to operate. Handy for prototyping circuits that require both 3.3 and 5 volt sources. This 4x4 Keypad has a special
backpack circuit board that translates key presses on the keypad, and
outputs them as a serial stream. Compatible with both 3.3 and 5 volt
devices, the serial stream is output at the same level as is fed to the
module via VDD. Meaning....you feed it 3.3V, it will output the serial
data at 3.3V levels. So no level shifting circuitry is required. Data
is output at a fixed rate of 9600 baud. Plugs right into the SpinStudio IO / Servo module!!! |
